This led the World Health Organization (WHO) to list processed meats like bacon, ham, hot dogs, sausages, salami, corned beef, and beef jerky in the same category as tobacco or asbestos.
While meat can provide certain health benefits, experts advise sticking to more of a plant-based diet.
